Marvel Rivals has numerous ways you can communicate with your team and the enemy squad during a match, including through emojis. This is the fastest way to get a message across in a lobby.
Emojis in Marvel Rivals are sorted by Rare or Epic tiers. Rare emojis are static images, while Epic ones are animated and tend to be based on a specific character. Emojis are either obtained through limited-time events, or by purchasing them through the in-game store.
Fill up that emoji wheel
To equip emojis to your Marvel Rivals profile, go to the Heroes tab from the main lobby screen. Click on any of the displayed heroes, it doesn’t have to be your main character. Go to the Cosmetics tab and click on the emojis sub-section. From here, select the emoji you want to use and press Equip to choose exactly where to put it on your wheel. Repeat this process with every emoji you want to take into a match with you until your wheel is full of expressions.
There’s an option to toggle your emoji selection to apply to all heroes. If you toggle it on, all the emojis you have chosen will be on your spray wheel, no matter which character you use in a match. If you choose to have this off, you will have to individually pick which emojis you want to use for each character. To do this, go back to the Heroes tab and go through the same process with each hero you want to customise.
The way in which you use emojis in a match is the same as if you want to use sprays or emote. Press left on your D-Pad and navigate to the emojis wheel. When you select an emoji in a Marvel Rivals match, it will appear above your head, as well as in the in-game text chat.
