When the Battlefield 6 beta first went live, fans praised the game’s return to its identity. Those that took part got a taste of the full game through the gunplay, maps, and modes on offer. On Steam alone, the Battlefield 6 beta peaked at 517,853 players, with EA hoping to keep that momentum going at full launch. So, what time does the Battlefield 6 beta end?
The second Battlefield 6 open beta introduced the Empire State map and saw the return of the Rush mode. A custom search option also allowed you to filter maps and modes with your favourite combinations. If you wanted to play Breakthrough on Liberation Peak, for example, matchmaking would prioritise this combination if available. Daily playlist rotations were specifically for the beta, allowing the developers to collect necessary data and player feedback.
When does the Battlefield 6 beta end?
The final phase of the Battlefield 6 open beta is scheduled to run from August 14 at 4am ET/9am BST, to August 18 at 4am ET/9am BST. This four-day window will be your last opportunity to play Battlefield 6 until the game fully releases on October 10, 2025.

The second round of the Battlefield 6 beta has been just as popular as the first, but some issues began to crop up, including a sliding bug that wasn’t in the first beta phase, along with performance and server problems.
When the beta does come to an end, all that’s left to do is wait for the release of Battlefield 6 on October 10, 2025. Perhaps more tests will go live on Battlefield Labs leading up to launch, but that’s unconfirmed.
