SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide expected to release in November

SpongeBob SquarePants Titans of the Tide release date

SpongeBob and his duo Patrick are about to star in a new video game, according to a report. SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is expected to land in November.

It’s unknown what genre SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide could fall into. It’s worth noting that the last two entries in the series, Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated and Cosmic Shake were platformers.

Back in June, Gematsu spotted the game title as it was rated in South Korea and Germany. The rating indicates that the game features minor violence, explosions, and minor bodily harm. Could players get the opportunity to come up against the Flying Dutchman in Titans of the Tide?

Heading back to Bikini Bottom

According to billbil-kun, a reputable leaker over at Dealabs Magazine, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and the Nintendo Switch 2. THQ Nordic is thought to have made the decision to abandon old generation hardware.

The release date is expected to be November 18, 2025, meaning the game should officially be announced in the very near future. Dealabs are unable to confirm the exact date of the announcement, but they predict that it could occur as soon as within the next 15 days. The THQ Showcase will take place on August 1, so there’s a possibility that this next entry in the SpongeBob video game franchise could be shown off during the show.
