Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is here which means there’s a brand new weapon pool to familiarise yourself with. The AMR9 is a strong option to have in your MW3 loadouts, that’s if you’re using the correct attachments.
Ever since multiplayer launched, assault rifles have been dominant, with the SVA 545, Holger 556, and MCW shining. As a submachine gun player at heart, I am disappointed that they aren’t packing a punch in quite the same way. However, this AMR9 class focuses on recoil control and mobility in close-quarter combat, transforming it into a viable SMG
MW3 AMR9 loadout attachments
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor S
- Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip
- Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
- Stock: TA Venom Stock
- Magazine: 50 Round Mag
The Monolithic Suppressor S will ensure you’re undetectable by radar which is important now that red dots are back on the minimap. At the same time, this muzzle will provide your first recoil control boost. Equipping the Sakin ZX Grip will also improve your recoil control, as well as adding greater gun kick control and firing aim stability.
The DR-6 Handstop works to improve handling and mobility with increased aim walking, aim down sight, sprint to fire, and movement speeds. Pairing this with the TA Venom Stock will continue to bump up recoil control and movement speed, resulting in a quick and accurate submachine gun.
Last but certainly not least is the 50 Round Mag, significantly raising your magazine ammo capacity. As a result, you’ll be able to take out multiple opponents in one clip and have enough bullets to take on opponents at range.
