Call of Duty: Warzone 2 launched with Al Mazrah, but Resurgence fans had to wait a little longer until they could drop into Ashika Island. Now, a fresh Resurgence map could be getting ready to make its debut sooner than we might’ve expected. According to a Call of Duty insider, Warzone 2 could be getting a new map in Season 04.
The map is believed to have been made by Beenox Studios. They first worked on the Call of Duty franchise in Black Ops 3 and they were the lead developer for The Battle of Verdansk event which revealed Vanguard.
Warzone 2 is reportedly getting a new Vondel map in Season 04
According to CharlieIntel, “Season 04 begins June 14th and will include the new Warzone map Vondel, which is set in Netherlands and is developed by Beenox, per sources. Map will have Resurgence support to start. More info to come” In addition, their sources have claimed that Vondel will support the DMZ mode in the future.Back in April, the Vondel map was first leaked by dataminers known as “TaskForceLeak5.” From the game files, they uncovered a map called Vondel, with the playlists “Vondel Battle Royale Quads” and “Vondel Resurgence Trios.“
With Season 04 just a couple of weeks away, it won’t be long until we get an official announcement from Activision, so keep your eyes peeled! Hopefully, the new Season 04 Vondel map will be the best Warzone 2 map, yet.
