If you’re looking for a game inspired by Deus Ex with unique mechanics and weapon customisation, Peripeteia does just that. Peripeteia will throw you straight into a world full of conspiracy and mystery where global powers are butting heads. Did we mention that you can create your own climbing routes, too?
Peripeteia is a first-and-third-person game that blends shooter, stealth and RPG mechanics. In an alternate history cyberpunk Poland, you adopt the role of a cybernetic supersoldier named Marie, who must make her way as a Mercenary in a post-Soviet city full of corruption.

The developers assure players that “as this is an Early Access release, we intend to listen to community feedback and continuously fix any bugs and issues that might happen in a project as ambitious as this.” The next major map known as Dustbowl, will arrive in an update “in a few months.” All Beta Kickstarter backers and Patrons will be the first to experience the upcoming map.
Although it is Early Access, there’s a lot of content to dive into. The current build includes five complete levels. An additional two bonus levels, Arena and Ratical, come equipped with their own modes. There’s even more to look forward to as Peripeteia will remain in Early Access until the last few levels are polished and in the game. The developers are aiming to reach this point by early 2026, with plans to continue supporting the game with new post-release content and ongoing updates.
If you have a hunger for violence and survival, Peripeteia has 10% slashed off its price tag as an introductory offer that runs through until February 28, 2025.
