The incoming Season 6 update for The Crew Motorfest is gearing up to be deployed in just a matter of a few short weeks. With it, various improvements to the map of virtual Hawaii and gameplay tweaks are in store.
Players can look forward to changes to traffic behaviour, tweaks for PVP mode, and updates to the newly-introduced map of Maui, just to name a few.
Island-wide makeover
Maui was released only a few months ago as a free expansion to all players. There’s a fictional bridge that connects it to O’ahu. It’s been gradually used more and more as new events have popped up. Now, Season 6 will bring some key changes to some of its landscapes, offering more visual variety.
More buildings and other structures are part of the improvements, along with various props and scenery elements being added to give Motorfest’s virtual rendition of the island a new breath of life. These changes are highlighted in a before and after teaser video.
New bells and whistles
As for the core gameplay elements, some key changes include a few longstanding requests. One, for instance, is that of disabling traffic during Summit Feats (quick challenges that are scattered around the open-world map when free-roaming.)
Ivory Tower squarely calls out how it’s been “many, many moons” of players asking for this change to be implemented. That said, any Feats performed outside the Summit Contest will still contain traffic.
Other changes include some UI revamps, like pointing out what vehicle to select during a Main Stage Challenge and a more prominent Reward Pending message.

Fast travel has also gotten a boost, with players now able to quickly swap over to Photo Quest locations.
Some other changes include improvements to different PVP events, like a fresh weekly-themed Grand Race, new rotating weather conditions during the Grand Race, and disabling collision between players during the Grand Race.
Gearing up
These are just a few of the changes that Season 6 of The Crew Motorfest is bringing to the table. The update is set to go live across all platforms on March 6, 2025.
