Uniquely, Schedule 1 allows fans to vote on the game’s next update. With the outcome of the most recent vote favouring Special Customers, word is about to spread beyond Hyland Point about your illegal trading and attract some new faces who are eager to place big orders.
The third Schedule 1 community vote saw players choose between Hireable Drivers, which were proposed as employees who can transport items between your properties, businesses, and dealers, Police improvements with dynamic police intensity, federal agents, outlaw status, and heavier consequences when caught, and Special Customers.
Business is booming
Since Special Customers came out on top with 142,287 votes, new types of customers will soon periodically visit town and order large quantities of your product. These new types of customers include bikers, businessmen, hippies, rock bands, and party buses, switching up the usual customer list.
It’s expected that each group will have one or two preferred drug types, which they will order in large quantities when they pass through your turf. Primarily, it will be a quick way to offload bulk quantities of product, but not necessarily for high profits.

According to Schedule 1 developer Tyler, the Special Customers update is expected to roll out between June and July of 2026. Before development begins on the next major update, Schedule 1 is working on getting controller support and Steam Deck certification.
At the time of writing, it’s unknown when Special Customers will arrive in town, if they’ll be marked on the map, or if they’ll send orders directly to your mobile phone. If history is set to repeat itself, the Special Customers update may spend a week in the beta branch before going live.
