The MCW has taken a back seat in MW3 Ranked Play as Treyarch perform a weapon evaluation in the competitive playlist. The MTZ-556 is an extremely dominant option in both MW3 multiplayer and Ranked Play, especially with the best combination of attachments equipped.
Primarily, this loadout will focus on bumping up the accuracy and recoil control of the weapon, while ensuring it has more potential in long range gunfights.

The Purifier Muzzle Break is the first attachment that works to reduce horizontal recoil control and boost firing aim stability. As for the MTZ Clinch Pro Barrel, this transforms your assault rifle by significantly raising bullet velocity and damage range, while refining aiming idle sway and firing aim stability.
Next, the Bruen TR-24 Assault Grip continues to improve handling and recoil control, along with the MTZ Marauder Stock which mirrors the same function.
The MK.3 Reflector is the meta optic for precision sight picture and clarity while you’re firing at opponents from all ranges and angles.
As for a secondary weapon, the Renetti is the current pistol meta. It’s also a quick and snappy option, suitable for close quarter battles. If you run out of ammo, switching to your secondary weapon is much faster than reloading.
From the moment you begin using the MTZ-556, it won’t take you long to notice the reason why it was previously restricted in Ranked Play modes. It’s unlikely that the gun will remain in the competitive pool unless it gets hit with a serious nerf, so have fun with it while you can!
