The anticipated Greece map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2 has now arrived. The new expansion brings with it an array of beautiful landscapes from the historical country, made up of narrow city streets and stunning architecture, nestled in coastal-mountainous landscapes.
15 major cities are represented in-game, along with various villages and landmarks to explore.
All roads lead to Rhodes and more
Various Greek islands are also part of the new expansion, including Crete, Rhodes, Lesbos, Chios and Kefalonia. Thus, ferries will play an integral part of the logistics of moving cargo around the country.
The expansion will have players delivering to and from interesting depots such as hotels, marble quarries and ports like the Piraeus port. Of course, with Greece being such an ancient country, there are a lot of iconic landmarks to discover, such as Mount Olympus and the Corinth Canal.

Greece is a relatively small country, so there isn’t a vast amount of mileage to drive in the expansion. That said, SCS has taken the time to add in a sizeable amount of visual complexity to the environments around the map, with a great attention to detail on architecture and scenery elements like NPCs, moving objects and more. It seems that this relatively small package is set to make a big impact when it comes to providing players with a cargo load of eye candy to enjoy.
The Greece map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is available now for $12 USD. Alternatively, it can also be grabbed as part of the Balkans bundle.
The entire package provides all the countries from the West Balkans through the Black Sea, down to Greece. It’s a rather picturesque region of Europe, as was seen back in the West Balkans expansion that was released in 2023.
Now that Greece is part of the family, Euro Truck Simulator 2 is ever closer to living up to the full extent of its name. The next map expansion is the Nordic Horizons, which is expected to arrive at some time in 2025. The Heart of Russia expansion remains unreleased, and no recent updates about its future have been provided by SCS.
