Up until now, MW3 Ranked Play has been consistent with the pro player meta. However, Treyarch are currently performing a weapon evaluation in the competitive playlist, unleashing more options onto the battlefield. The RAM-9 is a dominant submachine gun in both MW3 multiplayer and Ranked Play with the best loadout.
Predominantly, this class will focus on bumping up the recoil control and mobility of the weapon to bring out the RAM 9’s full potential.
MW3 RAM-9 loadout attachments
- Muzzle: Purifier Muzzle Brake S
- Stock: HVS 3.4 Pad
- Rear Grip: Retort 90 Grip Tape
- Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
- Comb: Recon Comb
The first attachment used on this build is the Purifier Muzzle Brake S for more horizontal recoil control and firing aim stability. Although the HVS 3.4 Pad is a heavier stock, it improves gun kick control, aiming idle sway, firing aim stability, and recoil control for enhanced accuracy. This is solidified by the Retort 90 Grip Tape, due to this option being designed to tame gun recoil.
Since you’ll be getting up close and personal with your opponents using the RAM-9, you’re going to need some mobility. The DR-6 Handstop is the go-to underbarrel for faster aim down sight, aim walking, sprint to fire, and movement speeds. Lastly, the Recon Comb continues to raise sprint to fire speed, while maintaining solid recoil control.
The Renetti is the current pistol meta and that has been the case since the game launched. It’s fast-firing nature is versatile, making for a reliable secondary weapon.
The RAM-9 is a powerful submachine gun in close and medium range battles in MW3. If you want a break from using the Rival 9, the RAM-9 is sure to breathe some fresh air into your gameplay.
