Halo Infinite is kicking off the Lunar New Year celebrations early, giving players the opportunity to pick up themed cosmetics. The items come at no extra cost, and who doesn’t love getting their hands on some freebies?
Lunar New Year marks the beginning of the New Year according to the lunar calendar or lunisolar calendar. Also known as The Year of the Dragon, celebrations begin on February 10, 2024 across the globe, predominantly in China and other countries in Asia. The seven day state holiday is rooted in tradition and has become one of the most important events in China’s history.
How to get free Lunar New Year rewards in Halo Infinite
By simply logging into Halo Infinite, you will be given a Lunar New Years Gifts Emblem and Nameplate, as well as a Firecracker Link Weapon Charm.
A Spring Festival Dragon 2024 Emblem and Nameplate, along with a Lucky Dragon Weapon Charm is also up for grabs. To add those to your inventory, you need to navigate to the in-game store tab where you can claim the items for free.
That’s not all, as a Lunar Coil bundle can be purchased with 2,200 Halo Credits which includes 11 items such as a fresh armour coating and even legendary armour effects.
The Halo Infinite Lunar New Year rewards are available to claim until March 5, 2024. By doing so, you can instantly access them and equip them to your profile to show off in your next match.
