Caves, mining, and a whole lot of bugs is the core of Deep Rock Galactic. So far the game has had 4 seasons since it launched in May 20230 So, when will Deep Rock Galactic Season 5 finally go live?
Similar to many modern games, Deep Rock Galactic has adopted a seasons system to launch a new battle pass and an array of content. Until now, details of a Season 5 have been scarce, but we have a release window for when miners can lock and load for the next big content drop.
Deep Rock Galactic Season 5 announcement
We’ve been waiting for a new season of Deep Rock Galactic for a while, but the wait is far from over. Season 5 is scheduled to launch in June 2024, which the devs note “aren’t coming as soon as any of us want.”
That’s not all, as a Season 6 has also been announced, but there’s no word on when we can expect that.
The reason for the huge delay between seasons has been put down to Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core, a brand new co-op game. This upcoming title will have all the features of DRG we know and love, but instead, it’ll be a roguelite. Don’t forget, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is also in development, which is a third-person, singleplayer game.
Although Season 5 has been significantly delayed, there’s still a lot of Deep Rock Galactic experiences on the way.
