Xbox’s brand new Game Pass Core makes its debut tomorrow. When this replacement of Xbox Live was first announced in July, Microsoft promised subscribers that they’d get access to “over 25 high-quality games on console.” Now, 36 games have been announced at launch and it’s a pretty impressive list.
Existing Xbox Live Gold members will be automatically transferred across to the new subscription, priced at the same rate of $9.99 per month (or $59.99 per year) as Xbox Live Gold. You can continue to access any Xbox 360 and Xbox One games you might’ve previously downloaded through Games with Gold if you choose to remain a Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate member.
