After a long day out in space fighting the dangers of the universe, you may want a safe space to call home. Starfield will allow you to get a house, but what do you have to do to own one?
Houses have been important features in previous Bethesda titles such as Skyrim and Fallout. They’re not just a place for you to catch some z’s, but you can also use them to store your most prized possessions.
How to get a house in Starfield
To become a homeowner in Starfield, you’ll need to buy a house using in-game currency or by completing certain quests. In fact, you can purchase a house in all the major cities.
Here are all the major cities confirmed, so far:
- Akila City
- Cydonia
- Neon
- New Atlantis
We can’t talk about houses without mentioning the importance of your ship. Your ship will be your home away from home and it’s likely that you’ll spend a lot of time in it while you’re out exploring. It’s unknown if houses will have customisation options, but you will be able to personalise your ship.
Your ship can be customised in a variety of ways, from the components, to the colour, and you can even give it a name.
The specific details on how to get a house in Starfield will be revealed when the game goes into early access on September 1.
