A new Hogwarts Legacy patch is live and it has added Arachnophobia mode. This feature allows you to take those eight-legged creatures out of your playthrough. The demand for Arachnophobia-friendly games appears to be at an all time high, with Respawn Entertainment being forced to add an Arachophobia mode to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. If you want to enable Arachnophobia mode in Hogwarts Legacy, this guide will show you how.

How to enable Arachnophobia mode in Hogwarts Legacy
You can turn on Arachnophobia mode by opening up the settings and visiting the accessibility options menu. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and you’ll see “Arachnophobia mode.” All you have to do is hover over the option to toggle it on. You can always toggle it off again, but why would you want to?
When you enable Arachnophobia mode, you’ll see the following changes:
- Changes all enemy spider appearances
- Reduces and removes spider skitters and screeches
- Removes small spider ground effect spawners
- Makes static spider corpses in the world invisible
- Collision is still active to stop players from getting stuck when in this mode
- The mode will not change the spider images in the Field Guide
