When you load into a Ranked Play match in Modern Warfare 2, there’s almost always players representing their favourite teams with operator skins, weapon camos, and various other cosmetics. MW2 is set to get another CDL bundle with weapon blueprints that have been designed by each organisation. This has allowed for some unique designs that capture the essence of your favourite teams and players.
Its worth reminding you that the upcoming CDL team packs are offering a weapon blueprint, not a camo. This means that the skin is only available for the Vaznev 9k, so it can’t be put on any other weapon in the game.
General Manager of the CDL, Daniel Tsay explains that “versus camos, you can get a lot more detailed with a blueprint design.” He admits that the main concern is that you won’t be able to edit the pre-set attachments on the blueprint if the meta changes. Since there’s only two tournaments left this season (Major V and the World Championship in Las Vegas,) the meta is unlikely to be switched up.
CDL Vaznev 9k weapon blueprint attachments in MW2
The CDL meta loadout for the Vaznev 9k is as follows:
- Barrel: Bruen Pendulum
- Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
- Stock: Otrezat Stock
- Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip
Apart from the Vaznev 9k blueprint, the bundle also contains a bucket hat weapon charm and four player signatures that you can stick to your gun.
The MW2 CDL weapon blueprints have been given a May 2 release date. They’ll be available to purchase through the in-game store, but a price has not yet been revealed. Hopefully, assault rifle players can get the same treatment with a similar blueprint for the TAQ-56 in the near future.
