This weekend saw the debut of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Although a new iteration of multiplayer and zombies has arrived, Warzone fans are patiently waiting for the release of the brand new Warzone map known as Urzikstan.
As we transition away from Al Mazrah, prepare to have a whole host of new MW3 weapons and equipment at your disposal, unique points of interest, and a continuation of the Modern Warfare narrative as we take the fight into Urzikstan.
When will Warzone’s Urzikstan map launch?
According to Activision, the new Warzone map is set to release “in December as part of Season 01.” However, a specific date hasn’t yet been given, so it’s unknown if the Urzikstan map will release at the beginning of Season 01, or as part of the mid-season update.
The Urzikstan map takes players to Western Asia, on the eastern border of the Black Sea. There will be a total of 11 points of interest to explore which are:
- Levin Resort
- Popov Power
- Orlov Military Base
- Seaport District
- Urzikstan Cargo
- Old Town
- Low Town
- Hadiqa Farms
- Zaravan City
- Zaravan Suburbs
- Shahin Manor
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 01 is expected to arrive around December 6. Leading up to a new season, Activision release a roadmap detailing all the fresh content fans can look forward to. Therefore, we should expect to hear more information about the new Warzone Urzikstan map closer to the game’s first season.
