Skyrim is over a decade old, but modders continue to create new mods for the RPG. If you want to introduce your character to the epitome of British cuisine, a mod now allows you to consume Marmite in Skyrim.
The jars of Marmite look exactly like they do in real life, so it’ll be hard to miss the bright yellow lid. It’s almost as if Tamrie got a shipment of Marmite straight from the manufacturer.
The Marmite mod isn’t in Skyrim just for the taste
Released on Nexus Mods by modder Jamiedow99, Marmite can be consumed to boost both your health and stamina. One jar of Marmite restores 100 health and 100 stamina, so if you aren’t a fan of the spread, you may have to tolerate it if you’re in the desperate need of a pick-me-up. If you like your Marmite warm, it can be cooked in a cooking pot in Skyrim.
If you have the Container Item Distributor mod installed, you can even purchase Marmite from Marise Aravel in Riften. However, it is the most expensive item she sells, as it is priced at a huge 304 gold. The Container Item Distributor mod is entirely optional and it’s not needed to run the Marmite mod.
Now you’ve expanded your Skyrim palette with the Marmite mod, we’ll have to see if any more British classics are added to the game. Could we get a plate of Yorkshire puddings and gravy, perhaps?
