The skate add-on for Riders Republic is finally here, and there are various ways that players can access its content. Arguably, there may even be a bit too many ways that it can be accessed.
This guide will break down exactly how you can start kickflipping and grinding your way around the Republic.
Buying the skate add-on
If you have the game
For those who are already part of the Republic, you can grab the add-on via the in-game store or via the storefront of your respective platform (Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, or Ubisoft Connect on PC).
Purchasing the Riders Republic skate add-on in-game requires you to first purchase a bundle of Republic Coins, using real-world money.
The skateboard add-on costs 2500 RC, so you’ll need to grab the Silver Pack of Republic Coins which go for $17.99 USD. This will give you 2600 RC in total.
If microtransactions aren’t your style, buying the add-on via the platform storefronts gives you a range of options, but only if you do not already own the game.
For newcomers to Riders Republic
For those that do not already have the game, there are three new editions of Riders Republic that replace the original SKUs.
In addition to the Standard Edition (which is just the game itself for $39.99,) there’s also the Skate Edition that goes for $59.99 and includes just the skate add-on. Up next is the 360 Edition for $79.99 and this includes the skate add-on and the skate plus pack. Now, what’s that? That includes the Hoverboard, exclusive cosmetic items, and even the Ridge Ultimate pack; all of these are single purchases from the in-game store.
The new Complete Edition includes all the aforementioned perks, plus the Year 1 Pass for $99.99. The Year 1 Pass features eight additional sports, including the BMX add-on that was released several months ago.
If you’re subscribed to Ubisoft+, then you’ll automatically have access to the Complete Edition of Riders Republic for as long as you’re subscribed. This also applies to folks who already purchased Riders Republic in the past and subscribe to Ubisoft+ at a later date.
To pick your specific edition of Riders Republic, you can do so via the official website.
