Every year, the World Series of Warzone (WSOW) consists of a trios tournament and a solo drop. The only difference this time around is that the 2023 World Series of Warzone Global Finals is in-person for the very first time. The Solo YOLO drop is the final map of the tournament and all 150 players have to fend for themselves. The one player that comes out victorious wins a whopping $100,000.
The Solo YOLO is my personal favourite and in the past, it has made for some of the most memorable moments not just in Warzone, but competitive Call of Duty history as a whole.
Back in 2021, Seth ‘Scump’ Abner made history by winning the solo drop. Although many regard him as being one of the best Call of Duty League pros of all time, Warzone is a whole different ballpark. The OpTic Gaming star finished out the map with an insane clutch to defeat the Warzone pros and bank the $100,000 prize.
Fast forward to the Caldera days, BBlade won the EU Solo YOLO and Fifakill took home the prize for NA. Those victories were far from easy, as they had to combat an abundance of Riot Shields and players roaming around in vehicles.
Skullface wins the World Series of Warzone 2023 Solo YOLO
Skullface has won the Solo YOLO, beating Bbreadman in a 1v1. He was awarded with a $100,000 cheque on the main stage.
