Phasmophobia reveals Cursed Hollow Community Event

phasmophobia cursed hollow community event

Phasmophobia has unveiled its first community event of the year, Cursed Hollow. Grab your gear and your friends to take on all the frights the event has in store.

The upcoming event has received a variety of updates based on community feedback. As the map rotates each day, you will now work through two categories of rewards for the duration of the three week event.

Phasmophobia welcomes you to the Cursed Hollow

When Cursed Hollow launches in Phasmophobia, Ghost Hunters will be tasked with uncovering the secrets of the Cursed Hollow through identifying ghosts, completing objectives and discovering totems dotted across the maps. Activating these totems is a gamble and likely to effect that which haunts you, the Forest Spirit. These effects may play in your favour, or raise the challenge level for your crew.

Going into this event, rewards will be split into Community and Personal. Community goals are met by working together, while Personal goals will be unique to the player. The aim of this is to add more incentive for players to keep coming back for more and unlock an ID card upgrade that’ll be available only to those that complete their Personal goal.

Community Event trophies will also function differently in Cursed Hollow. Each event (Crimson Eye, Winter’s Jest, and Cursed Hollow) will have a trophy that can be upgraded up to three times each, with players being able to gather points throughout the event. If the Personal goal is met, your trophy will be upgraded. If you don’t manage to meet the goal, progress can continue during the following year’s respective event.

The Cursed Hollow event will be live across all platforms that Phasmophobia is playable on from April 17th, 2025.
