In a recent Q&A all about tech in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Ubisoft stated that “at launch, the game will not be compatible with Steam Deck, due to the fact it is below our minimum specs for PC.” Since the developers say this is going to be the case “at launch” it could mean that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will join the ever-growing list of Steam Deck verified games later on. Those hoping to play the game on Valve’s handheld device on March 20 will have to stick to PC or console.
