No matter what era of Warzone we are in, there always seems to be a place for the XM4. After all, if you’re a new player or haven’t been unlocking weapons in Black Ops 6, the XM4 is one of the first weapons you’ll have access to. If you want to find success early on in your Warzone journey, here is the best XM4 loadout.
It’s worth noting that this build makes use of the Gunfighter Wildcard, so you can apply eight attachments to the weapon rather than the standard five. However, you’ll have to get your loadout twice in order to get your secondary weapon because Overkill can’t be equipped alongside Gunfighter.
Warzone XM4 attachments
- Optic: Willis 3x
- Muzzle: Suppressor
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag II
- Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
- Stock: Balanced Stock
- Fire Mods: Recoil Springs
The Suppressor does what you would expect from this muzzle, erasing your shots from the mini map. As for the Long Barrel, it greatly improves damage range to increase the weapon’s potential at further distances. To keep your shots accurate while in long range battles, use the Vertical Foregrip to significantly boost horizontal recoil control.
To load yourself with more ammunition, use the Extended Mag II. This expands your magazine size to a total of 60, allowing you to deal a lot of damage without having to reload.
Next, the Ergonomic Grip makes up for the mobility hits given by the Extended Mag II by raising slide to fire, dive to fire, and aim down sight speeds. Pair this with the Balanced Stock to further enhance mobility in terms of added strafing, aim walking, and overall movement speeds.
Finally, round off the accuracy of the assault rifle with the Recoil Springs for more horizontal and vertical recoil control.
For a weapon that can accompany your XM4 in close-quarter combat, the C9 is currently the best choice. It has all the fire power and mobility you need to find success in short and medium ranged gunfights.
