The open-world of Ghost of Tsushima has hit PC, bringing the highly acclaimed PlayStation title to life on new hardware. If you’re on PC, the chances are that this is your first time forging a new path in Ghost of Tsushima and after mashing all the buttons, you may be wondering how to skip cutscenes.
Single player games, specifically ones as immersive and cinematic as Ghost of Tsushima put a lot of detail into their cutscenes. With that being said, cutscenes aren’t for everyone, especially if they’re lengthy and you want to get straight back into the action.
Can you skip cutscenes in Ghost of Tsushima?
If you’re playing Ghost of Tsushima for the first time, you won’t be able to skip cutscenes. This feature is unlocked when you complete the game and begin a New Game Plus playthrough. To access New Game Plus, you have to finish the Ghost of Tsushima story in its entirety. Then, you can restart the game from the beginning, equipped with your gear from your original adventure and with the option to bypass cutscenes.
Since Ghost of Tsushima is now on PC, there’s a chance that a member of the community manages to create a mod that allows you to skip cutscenes while playing as Jin Sakai for the very first time.
Until then, you’ll have to simply wait for the cutscene to end which may be frustrating for some. However, the cutscenes in Ghost of Tsushima are well crafted and enhance the narrative.
We’ll update you if the developers respond to this concern or a mod allowing you to skip cutscenes rolls out. Until then, consider checking out more of the latest news:
