After finding success on PlayStation and PC, Helldivers 2 is making its way to Xbox on August 26. Get ready to deploy boots on the ground to assist your fellow troops fighting in the Galactic War.
The demand for Helldivers 2 to make its way to Xbox was certainly high. More players than ever will be able to enlist in the summer, where crossplay is live on all platforms. Pre-orders for Helldivers 2 on Xbox are available now ahead of launch.
Calling in reinforcements
Xbox Wire spoke to Helldivers 2 Game Director Mikael Eriksson, on what it means to the studio for Helldivers 2 to be joining the green side:
“We know gamers have been asking for this for some time and we are so excited to bring more Helldivers into our game. We have so much more in store for the future months and years – and the more players we have the more stories we can tell! The fight for Super Earth has only just begun.”
Those on Xbox can pre-order two editions of Helldivers 2 to obtain cosmetic items that can be equipped at launch.
Placing a pre-order of the base version of Helldivers 2 grants the following three armour sets:
- TR-7 Ambassador of the Brand
- TR-62 Knight
- TR-9 Cavalier of Democracy
By pre-ordering the Super Citizen Edition, you will receive:
- Three armour sets included in the Standard Edition
- DP-53 Savior of the Free Armour Set
- Will of the People Cape
- MP-98 Knight Weapon
- Super Citizen Status
- Stratagem Hero Ship Game
- Premium Warbond Token
Helldivers 2 will officially hit Xbox Series X|S on August 26, 2025.
