FBC: Firebreak is a cooperative first-person shooter that throws you into a mysterious federal agency under attack by unearthly forces. Before your trio goes to shut down the threats, choose your weapon and customise your Firebreaker’s Crisis Kit with a plethora of tools, grenades, support items, and modifiable paranatural augments. Remedy is taking fans back to the award-winning world of Control with this standalone multiplayer experience. It’s all about creating a loadout to fit your playstyle and team dynamic to slay through deadly enemies.
Bullet madness
The purpose of the Closed Technical Test is for Remedy to take the matchmaking and balancing of FBC: Firebreak for a spin before full launch. The Closed Technical Test will run from May 15 until May 19, 2025. The specific schedule is as follows:
- Start – May 15 at 6am PDT / 2pm BST
- End – May 19 at 1:59pm PDT / 9:59 BST
PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S users are all needed and crossplay will be live in the playtest. If you want to get involved, sign up for the playtest via the FBC: Firebreak website. All you have to do is input your email address and you will instantly receive an email with a confirmation code to complete your registration. After ticking all the boxes, click the yellow “sign up” button and a pop up will inform you that the sign up has been received.
Keep in mind that signing up for the FBC: Firebreak Closed Technical Test does not guarantee you entry. Capacity for the Technical Test is limited, so you’re simply registering your interest. Those lucky enough to be accepted will receive an email with next steps.
