Previously, it was announced that Vampire Survivors would get cross-save on all platforms, including PlayStation. Due to an unexpected roadblock, the chances of cross-save being available on PlayStation consoles is dwindling.
Vampire Survivors has released Emerald Diorama, a free expansion made up of two new Adventures with six chapters each. As part of the update, cross-save went live on PC, Xbox, Android and iOS, while PlayStation was left behind.
More work to be done
It was expected that cross-save would be available on Vampire Survivors across PlayStation 4/5, PC, Xbox, Android and iOS alongside this free game update. However, the team explain, “we’ve run into a legal issue on PlayStation we weren’t aware of that requires us to share info on our partners that we’re unable to.”
At this point in time, “the chances of cross-save coming to PlayStation consoles are now very slim, but not impossible, so we’re going to keep working alongside PlayStation to resolve these problems.” The developers have apologised for building up “any anticipation for this feature on PlayStation, only to change plans at the last minute.”
It’s not all bad news, as cross-save is available now on PC, Xbox, Android and iOS devices, with Nintendo Switch following at a later date.

In order to take advantage of Vampire Survivors cross-save functionalities, you need to make a Poncle account. On the Vampire Survivors main menu, click the new cloud button in the top-left corner. From here, you can register an account using an email address and password which you will need to verify.
In the game, navigate to My Account, Manage Data, and Save Data, to save your game to a cloud slot. You can then load your progress when you log into your account on another device.
