Designed in co-operation with the remaster specialists at Virtuos, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has arrived, along with the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansions.
Perhaps the worst kept secret in the games industry was The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. A whole host of leaks indicated that its shadow drop was imminent and Bethesda has done just that, re-opening the doors to a world that millions of players have enjoyed.
Is Oblivion Remastered on Xbox Game Pass?
The short answer is, yes. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is available on Game Pass as a day one title. It is also available through Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning one purchase of the game on an Xbox platform means you can play on Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and cloud with full cross-entitlements and cross-saves.
In The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, every part of the world has been revamped to reflect modernity, while maintaining the game’s original feel. Some new voice lines have been recorded, but the originals have been kept in place. Game systems have been updated, including the HUD and camera, while levelling systems have received some adjustment for smoother progression and balance.

Game Pass subscribers can immerse themselves in Oblivion Remastered now. Those on Xbox, PlayStation and PC can also purchase the base game for £49.99 or the Deluxe Edition for £59.99. The Deluxe Edition includes the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine story expansions, new quests for unique digital Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon Armors, Weapons, and Horse Armor Sets, as well as Fighter’s Stronghold, Spell Tomes, Vile Lair, Mehrune’s Razor, The Thieves Den, Wizard’s Tower, The Orrery, and Horse Armor Pack downloadable content.
