What are the Battlefield Labs PC system requirements?

Battlefield Labs was recently revealed as the most “ambitious community collaboration in franchise history.” Battlefield Labs will be compatible with PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, but PC gamers will need to meet the minimum system requirements.

So far, both EA and DICE remain tight-lipped on what the next instalment of the Battlefield franchise will involve. However, some fortunate players will get to peek behind the curtain at the future of Battlefield through Battlefield Labs playtests.

Battlefield Labs PC system requirements

Before signing up for Battlefield Labs, PC owners will want to make sure that their hardware is up for all the content the playtests will offer. Here are the minimum and recommended specs that your system will have to hit in order to run Battlefield Labs.

Minimum requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT 6GB
  • Memory: 16GB
  • Storage: Minimum 30GB

Recommended requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-10700 / AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
  • GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060Ti / AMD Radeon RX 6700-XT
  • Memory: 16GB
  • Storage: Minimum 30GB

If your rig is ready to go, you can sign up to be in with the chance of becoming a playtester via the Battlefield Labs website. In order to sign up, you will need an EA account that is linked to the platform you play on. The first batch of testing will be accessible to players in North America and Europe only, but there are plans to expand server locations in the future.

Those that are lucky enough to be selected for a playtest will receive an email and will have to sign and comply with the terms of a non-disclose agreement. Battlefield Labs will be available to PC players via the EA App.
