Choose your class, customise your appearance, and fight hostile mechs in the aftermath of the Catastrophe in Mecha Break. All players can prepare to battle it out in three game modes in the upcoming Mecha Break beta.
The open beta begins on February 23, 2025 at 2am PT. The upcoming beta will allow players to test the 6v6 Operation Verge and 3v3 Ace Arena modes that fans have already become familiar with. New content includes crossplay between PC and Xbox debuting in the open beta, as well as Mecha Break’s PvPvE extraction mode, Mashmak. Those that want to take part in the beta can do so for free. Although the developers have given a release date, an end date is yet to be confirmed.
How to play the Mecha Break open beta
On console, simply search for the Mecha Break open beta via the Xbox storefront when the time comes. Those on PC can pre-load the open beta from February 20, 2025, at 2am PT by visiting the Mecha Break Steam page and clicking on the green “install demo” button. As soon as the servers go live on February 23, players will be able to get hands-on experience with what the third-person experience has to offer.

Mecha Break is expected to fully launch on PC and Xbox Series X|S consoles in spring 2025, before arriving on more platforms in the future.
