After releasing on PC in May 2024, Tap Wizard 2 will make its debut on Xbox storefronts on January 7, 2025. The idle game that comes equipped with action RPG and shooter elements will also make its way to Nintendo Switch later this year.
On a magic quest to secure the Chronosphere, a wizard is overrun by dark forces. As the wizard is about to pass away, the Chronosphere rewinds time, preventing the wizard from meeting his maker. Armed with knowledge of the assault and even greater power, the wizard is prepared for the next swarm of enemies. Tap Wizard 2 has various ways to progress, including through Power, Research, Enchanting, XP, Awakenings, Eras, and Totems.
Tap Wizard 2 joins the Xbox family
The game which is developed by indie studio TopCog, will launch on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S systems. Thanks to backwards compatibility, the title will be playable on both Xbox generations.
Of course, playing as a wizard allows you to use an array of magic spells and skills. In Tap Wizard 2, these are based on fire, ice, lightning, poison, and more. As you advance, you’ll only continue to increase in power, making you a deadly force against more than 25 different types of enemies that populate the world.
