Realm of Ink delisted on Steam with the devs “unaware of the specific reason”

realm of ink delisted on Steam

Realm of Ink released in the autumn of 2024 as a captivating addition to the rogue-lite genre. However, it has been mysteriously delisted from Steam across all countries and regions.

The Hades-inspired title made a promising start in an Early Access state, with the full game expected to launch later this year. The delisting has definitely thrown some obstacles in the road, but Leap Studio are committed to proceeding full steam ahead with development.

The delisting becomes Realm of Ink’s biggest mystery

The official Realm of Ink X account put out a notice on January 3, 2025, informing players that the game has been removed from the Steam store. The developers are “currently unaware of the specific reason for this action, but we are doing our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.”

While the team does “everything [they] can to get the game back online,” players are reassured that development plans for Realm of Ink will still go ahead as expected.

The announcement is signed off with, “we appreciate your patience and continued support. We will keep you updated on any progress and will notify you once the game is available again on Steam.”

It’s definitely a difficult situation for any game in Early Access to deal with, especially with the success it garnered from the get-go. Before its delisting, Realm of Ink boasted “Very Positive” user reviews, with its achievements continuing on an upward trend following various updates.

At the time of writing, searching for Realm of Ink via Steam brings up zero relevant results. Moreover, trying to find the game’s Steam page through a search engine will redirect you to the Steam homepage.
