MiSide is the latest horror game making the rounds on Steam and it has a total of three endings, each dictating your fate.
It’s important to note that the alternate endings won’t unlock until you complete the true ending. Also, keep in mind that this guide does contain some spoilers.
Ending 1 – True Ending
The True Ending is achieved by simply playing MiSide normally and making it to the end of the story. In this ending, the way back to the real world is unlocked, but you will quickly discover that not all is as it seems. At the end of this standard playthrough, you will discover a code for a safe which you will need to access a further ending.
Ending 2 – Secret Safe Ending
During the game, you will come across a safe in the Basement in the chapter “Things Get Weird.” To unlock this ending in MiSide, you must enter the correct code to the safe, shown towards the end of your first playthrough and interact with the object inside.
After the first chapter, go to the basement and interact with the safe to input the code (4970.) Inside the safe will be a machine containing a cartridge that you can pull out. Doing so will see the game come to an unfortunate end.
Ending 3 – Happy Ending
The third and final ending is achieved by following certain steps. Essentially, it will result in you choosing to stay with Mita instead of investigating the wardrobe. The entirety of the main game will be skipped.
The steps you must follow to get this ending are:
- Chapter – “I’m Inside A Game?”: Do not look in the oven.
- Chapter – “I’m Inside A Game?”: Grab the refrigerator magnets.
- Chapter – “Together At Last”: Don’t check the vent when collecting the scissors.
- Chapter – “Together At Last”: Try the sauce offered by Mita.
- Chapter – “Things Get Weird”: Play a console game with Mita.
Upon successful completion of the requirements, Mita will let you stay with her forever. Although this disallows an escape, you won’t be taken over, leading to your happily ever after.
Reaching the conclusion of the Happy Ending will unlock a Peaceful Mode that will become available in a future update.
