After the huge success of the Fortnite OG season last year, it’s no surprise that Epic Games decided to run it back. This time, Fortnite OG will be a permanent mode, allowing players to visit the beginning of the battle royale at any point. As expected, Fortnite OG will feature a loot pool made up of nostalgic Season 1 weapons.
Depending on your playstyle, the ideal Fortnite OG loot pool will be made up of a gold SCAR, a Pump Shotgun or two, and don’t forget those pesky Damage Traps!

Here are all the weapons and items that will be available in the Fortnite OG playlist:
- Assault Rifle – Fully automatic, flexible assault rifle capable of handling all types of combat scenarios.
- Burst Assault Rifle – A versatile rifle that rewards careful aim and can be fired in short bursts.
- Scoped Assault Rifle – A semi-automatic tactical assault rifle featuring a scope. Good damage and impact at long range, but consumes a lot of ammunition.
- Grenade Launcher – Shoots rockets that damage everything in an area.
- Rocket Launcher – Fires long-range rockets that damage enemies in an area.
- Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle – Powerful and accurate rifle with a bolt-action mechanism that results in a reliable, but slow rate of fire.
- Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle – A medium to long range rifle that deals good damage and can be fired quickly. Scoped for additional aim down sight accuracy.
- Tactical Submachine Gun – Fires at a high rate, dealing great damage, while consuming a lot of ammo.
- Ceiling Zapper – Targets a single enemy, dealing a large amount of damage.
- Jump Pad – Launches players into the air.
- Damage Trap – Hits all enemies on the trap when triggered. Can be attached to surfaces in multiple directions.
- Wall Dynamo – Does damage to all enemies in range when the trap is triggered.
- Semi-Auto Pistol – Versatile sidearm with moderate damage, good rate of fire, and a large magazine.
- Revolver – Fast, precise sidearm, with a good punch, but small ammunition capacity.
- Tactical Shotgun – Fast-firing with a large magazine. Ideal for dealing damage to multiple players at short range.
- Pump Shotgun – Deals high damage at a moderate fire rate. Short range and limited magazine size.
- Grenade – Throw an explosive grenade.
- Slurp Juice – Applies health and shields over time.
- Shield Potion (Large) – Applies 50 shields.
- Med Kit – Restores your health back to 100.
- Bandage – Restore your health back up to a maximum of 75.
If you are able to cast your mind all the way back to the early days of Fortnite, you’ll see no surprises here. Even old-school weapon mechanics are preparing to return, most notably, the double pump will be back. This allows you to switch between pump shotguns and fire two rapid shots without a delay.
Fortnite OG will launch on December 6, 2024.
