The winters are as punishing as ever in Frostpunk and the blizzard continues into the next chapter. The moment fans have been waiting for is almost here and the team over at 11 Bit Studios has shared the release times for those who are ready to brave the freezing cold of Frostpunk 2.
The first instalment of the Frostpunk series launched in 2018 and it made noise in the city survival genre. If you’re yet to own the original Frostpunk, it’s currently 90% off on Steam. Additionally, all DLCs are 65% off each, the Season Pass is 76% off, while the Game of the Year Edition has an 84% discount.
However, playing the first game isn’t necessary to start your journey in the brutal city-builder that’s Frostpunk 2.
Frostpunk 2 Early Access schedule
Early Access is available to those who place a pre-order of the Deluxe Edition of the game. Here is when the Early Access period begins in your part of the globe.

Apart from 72 hours of Early Access, owning the Deluxe Edition of Frostpunk 2 grants you access to three paid post-release DLCs, an exclusive in-game item, “Warm Flesh” Novella, and a Digital Artbook and Soundtrack. Moreover, placing a pre-order of the Deluxe Edition slashes 10% off the price.
Owners of the base game will be able to start playing from September 20, 2024.
