It’s been a huge week for The First Descendant fans who can now hop into the shooter’s very first content drop. Although fresh content has been welcomed with open arms, it hasn’t arrived without issues. The developers are showing their appreciation for player support by awarding free items in The First Descendant.
Nexon are offering everyone rewards to celebrate The First Descendant’s preliminary major update which rolled out on July 31, 2024. It saw two new Descendants join the fight with their Modification Modules, the Peace Maker make its debut, and much more.
How to claim The First Descendant XP rewards
The official First Descendants X account revealed details of all the goodies up for grabs. Rewards will be sent out on August 2 and they will consist of the following:
- Gold Boost +30% (3 days)
- Kyper Shard Boost +30% (3 days)
- Descendant EXP Boost +30% (3 days)
- Weapon Mastery EXP Boost +30% (3 days)
The rewards must be claimed from your mailbox in the Albion before August 8, 2024 at 23:59pm PDT.
As part of the announcement, however, the team behind the game has confirmed that its upcoming hotfix has been delayed slightly. This patch was supposed to fix bugs including the missing Battlepass Supply Coin and the reduced monster spawns in the “Fortress Outskirts” mission. A new release date hasn’t been confirmed, but the decision to push the hotfix back was due to additional issues cropping up, but the specifics haven’t been outlined.
As much as the rewards are a celebration, Nexon are giving them out as compensation, too. It shares similarities with the freebies that were given to all players when the game experienced a multitude of launch issues.
