Chained Together is reminiscent of the Only Up days. It’s a challenging platformer, where you begin from the depths of hell and climb up to the top until you escape. Due to its complex nature and co-op capabilities, it has quickly garnered a lot of attention from content creators and players who want to tackle the obstacles in the diverse world the game provides. If you want to join in with the chaos that is Chained Together, we’ve got all the details on where you can play it.
If you’re playing with friends, you’ll be attached to them via a chain that sports realistic physics. Team work really does make the dream work here, as each jump requires coordination. If you fall, your progress will be undone and you’ll have to climb all the way back up until you make it to the end.
All Chained Together platforms
The only platform Chained Together is available on is PC via Steam. It is priced at $4.99/£4.29 and is playable solo, or with up to four players. Once you make the purchase, the game will be added to your Steam library where you can download it.
No matter what way you play, you will be given the option to select between three game modes which are:
- Beginner: An option in the pause menu allows you to teleport back to the highest point you reached before a significant fall.
- Normal: No specific help, you fall in case of failure and must start over.
- Lava: You must climb quickly before the lava engulfs you.
At the time of writing, it’s unknown whether or not Chained Together will arrive on consoles. We will be on the look out for any announcements.
