We are moving on from the Dagger Duchess to the era of the Evo Wizard with the launch of a brand new season of Clash Royale. With the update came a fresh Spell which goes by the name of the Void and here are all the details you need to know about the latest card to join your Clash Royale collection.
The in-game description for the Void is as follows. “You shall not pass! Unless there are lot of you…Creates a field of dark magic damaging all enemy troop and buildings within. More damage is dealt when fewer targets are on its area. Reduced damage to Crown Towers.” As for its appearance, a dark, animated circle will spawn in the area you place it down.
Give the new Void Spell a whirl
To permanently unlock the Void, you must reach Arena 15. If you’re yet to make it to that stage of the game, you can try out the new Void Spell by playing the Void Unleashed mode, where the card is automatically added to your deck.
The Void costs three Elixir to use and it will hit all troops inside its radius, whether they’re on the ground, or taking shots from above. The fewer troops that are in the radius, the more damage the Spell will deal to those inside.
Once placed, the Spell only lasts for 4.9 seconds, so make sure you’re using it wisely. The Void is best used when one or four targets are in its radius as this will result in the most damage being dealt in relation to the Elixir cost. Additionally, it’s effective when placed directly over defensive buildings, striking them multiple times for the duration that the Spell remains active.
