Apart from beloved characters from the Disney and Pixar franchises, Disney Dreamlight Valley is home to a range of critters that can be found across Eternity Isle and beyond. One of those creatures is a Red and White Striped Capybara and here’s where you can find one out in the wild.
Although it may look cute, the Red and White Striped Capybara is one of the most difficult animals to find in the game. However, it has to be done if you’re completing Mirabel’s “A Letter for Antonio” quest or you just want a rare companion by your side.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Red and White Striped Capybara location
The Red and White Striped Capybara can only be found in The Lagoon biome, where it will appear for a limited-time. It will only spawn in this area on Saturdays from 12pm to 6pm local time. Compared to other types of Capybara, the Red and White Striped version spends less time roaming around the world, so you’ll have to dedicate some time to tracking one down.
When you find a Red and White Striped Capybara, you’ll have to feed the critter its favourite food. Capybaras enjoy munching on cabbage which can be purchased from Goofy’s Stalls. These are also in The Lagoon, as well as the The Grove, The Promenade, and The Grasslands.
It’s worth noting that when you plant cabbage seeds, they take one hour of in-game time to grow and after all that waiting around, only one cabbage will grow per plant. Make sure your cabbage reserves are ready for a Capybara encounter!
