NCSOFT intends to leave its mark on the battle royale genre with their upcoming title, Battle Crush. The aim of the game is to fight it out in a 30 player lobby to become the only survivor. The combat is action-packed, with the ground falling from beneath your feet and enemies constantly launching towards you. If you want a taste of the chaos, you can participate in the second Battle Crush beta.
Battle Crush boasts simple controls, but the combat is far from basic. Choose from a roster of mythological creatures that go by the name of Calixers and master their unique skills. With survival becoming more difficult by the minute, you must use various attacks and items scattered around the arena to prevent being taken out.
How to join Battle Crush beta
Spanning across 97 countries, the beta will be open to PC and Android users. If you want to become a part of the brawl on PC, head over to the official Battle Crush Steam page and click on “request access” to the playtest. For those on mobile, go to the Battle Crush beta webpage and select “Google Play” as your platform. Enter your email address and hit “register” to secure your spot.
The beta will kick off on both platforms at 12am PT / 8am BST on March 21 and will end on March 28 at 11pm PT / 7am BST.
Standard battle royale modes can be played solo, or as a team of three. Also, Brawl is an experience that places you on a condensed battlefield, with consumable attack items which activate upon collection. If you really want to show off your skills, a Duel playlist will put you in an intense 1v1 face-off and the first hero to take three games out of five is crowned victorious.
As of now, Battle Crush is scheduled to fully release in the first half of 2024. It will be on PC, mobile, and Nintendo Switch, although the latter is yet to get the chance to enter a beta.
