Fortnite doesn’t shy away from crossovers, with hundreds being added to the in-game store and battle passes throughout the battle royale’s life cycle. Examples of the latest collaborations include the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Lady Gaga. Now, TV star Dr. Phil has revealed he wants to feature in the game with his very own Fortnite skin.
American television personality Dr. Phil is best known for hosting his very own talk show which was originally created by Oprah Winfrey. After 25 years and 21 seasons, filming came to an end in the spring of 2023, so perhaps a Fortnite skin is the perfect way to commemorate his on-screen career.
Dr. Phil has a message for Epic Games
In a clip posted on X by @HappyPower, Dr. Phil has a headset firmly equipped and insinuates that he is streaming Fortnite as he says “hold on chat,” before addressing the camera.
He goes on to ask “hey Fortnite creators, what do I gotta do to get my own character?” He mentions that Eminem has a total of three skins (so far) and highlights the fact that he has none.
“I need my own character, come on,” he states before fixating back on his computer screen.
Fortnite fans took to the video to show their support for Dr. Phil’s proposal, with users even tagging the official Fortnite account and asking them to make the crossover happen.
Only time will tell if Fortnite will release a Dr. Phil skin. It certainly wouldn’t be one of the strangest collaborations in the game’s history. Watch this space!
