Xbox fans create a petition to bring Helldivers 2 to the platform

helldivers 2 xbox petition trio combat

Helldivers 2 had a huge launch on PC and PlayStation, with thousands of players rushing to enlist and spread democracy across the galaxy. However, Xbox players have been left behind as the game has been locked behind platform exclusivity. In fact, Xbox players are so eager to see what Helldivers 2 has to offer that a petition has been set up to bring the game to the console in green.

It’s worth noting that the original Helldivers made its debut back in 2015 on PlayStation and PC, but it was never added to the Xbox library.

The petition was set up by Isaiah Hardin via Change.org and it sits at thousands signatures. If you want your voice heard, you can sign the petition to put your name on the list of supporters.

Helldivers 2 has found a huge amount of success, with the game peaking at over 388,000 players on Steam so far. Server capacity issues have been plaguing the title due to its unprecedented amount of popularity. It’s no surprise that Xbox owners want the chance to join the fight for freedom.

At the time of writing, there’s no word on whether or not Helldivers 2 will make its way onto Xbox. It’s interesting that this petition has come to light in the same week that Xbox revealed their new business strategy which will see four unnamed games lose exclusivity status and join other platforms.
