When it comes to horror games, Demonologist isn’t for the faint hearted. Luckily, you can exorcise evil spirits with up to four friends, so at least your not facing all the paranormal activity alone. If you’re a completionist, ghosts isn’t all you’ll be hunting. With that being said, here’s how to complete the hidden achievement in Demonologist.
Demonologist has a total of 19 achievements to earn. Some require you to put in more work than others, but many can be picked up by simply going about your regular playthrough.
How to complete the Demonologist hidden achievement
The hidden achievement is named “Deerscent Into Madness.” To get started, hop in a game on the Cyclone Street. In the hallway of the house, you’ll see a deer head mounted on the wall. Stand directly in front of the deer head and using push to talk, say to the deer “I want to join the cult.”
Some ominous music will then play, accompanied by a red light and creepy voices, with one of them whispering to you that you need to “find the key.” At the same time, you should receive a notification that you’ve unlocked the achievement.
The remaining achievements are:
- The Descent into Madness – Play the Abandoned House map
- Ghost Chaser – Correctly identify the ghost once
- This Isn’t Over! – Die once
- Paranormal Journalist – Correctly identify the ghost 3 times
- Metaphysical Intelligence Intern – Exorcise the ghost once
- Cyclone Street Surveyor – Play the Cyclone Street map
- Supernatural – Read EMF Level 5
- Health Care Hauntings – Play the Hospital map
- Metaphysical Intelligence Rookie – Exorcise the ghost 5 times
- Paranormal Photographer – Take two photos of the ghost
- Hail Mary – Purchase Two Crucifixes
- The Inebriated – Buy the Pub safe house
- The Phoenix: Rebirth – Revive your friend with a Tarot Card
- The Light Keeper – Buy the Lighthouse
- Madmen Hunters – Play the Bedlam map
- Desolate Lunacy in the Far East – Play the Kurosawa House map
- The Fried Ghost – Exorcise the ghost in the Bedlam
- Good or Evil? – Complete Suzie’s Story
