Dead Island 2 released in April 2023 and now, the game is getting its first story expansion. Known as Dead Island 2 Haus, you’ll follow a fresh storyline in a new location, along with an updated arsenal.
In this expansion, you will investigate a Malibu cult who are hosting death-cult fights for survival. The cult’s leader, Konstantin, is a billionaire and it’s down to you to stop him and his cult activities in their tracks. It sounds as if it’s what nightmares are made of.
A world of mystery and horror
As you step into Malibu, you’ll be able to equip brand new weapons and skill cards:
- K-ROSSBOW – crafted for precision and lethality, unleash devastating long-range firepower and explode zombified brains with ease
- Hog Roaster – the ultimate ticket to visceral slaying whilst you simultaneously butcher and BBQ zombies
- Dead Islands – to take the weight off your shoulders whilst you smash the undead enemies into oblivion
- 8 New Skill Cards – will embellish player’s slayer with and expanded arsenal of skills
A horrific cult won’t be all that’s standing in your way. The zombie apocalypse isn’t going away anytime soon, so you’ll still have to slay your way through the undead while you’re going about your everyday business.
Dead Island 2’s Haus expansion will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on November 2. A price hasn’t yet been revealed, but we can expect more details closer to the release date.
