Console players have been waiting to play Baldur’s Gate 3 for a long time. After all, the game went into early access on PC almost 3 years ago. When the full game released, it took Steam by storm, topping the charts in terms of sales and player count. Now PS5 users are gearing up for the launch of Baldur’s Gate 3 and if you can’t contain your excitement, there is a way to get early access.
Baldur’s Gate 3 will roll out to PS5 players on September 6, but those with early access can begin their Act 1 playthrough on September 3.
How to play Baldur’s Gate 3 early on PS5
To get early access to Baldur’s Gate 3 on PS5, you have to pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition of the game. This version comes in at $79.99 / £65.99 and you can place a pre-order through the PlayStation store. Early access isn’t all you’ll get for pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe edition as, some extra rewards have been thrown in for good measure.
