Ubisoft Ivory Tower has revealed the official system requirements for the PC release of The Crew Motorfest, which is just weeks away from launch.
Thankfully, the spec sheet doesn’t seem to be incredibly outrageous, so even those with slightly lower-end systems may be able to pull it off.
Hitting the road
The system requirements for The Crew Motorfest on PC range from recommending a modest Nvidia GTX 1060/AMD Radeon RX 480 to the extremely powerful RTX 3090/Radeon RX 7900 XT.
At the very base level, the lower-end cards (and their equivalents) should have 6GB or 8GB of VRAM. On the CPU side, an Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400 is needed. Minimum system RAM calls for having at least 8GB and 40GB on an SSD is recommended. This what’s good enough to run the game at 1080p and 30 FPS on the lowest graphics settings.
For the absolute best experience, which means achieving a 4K resolution at 60 FPS with the game’s ultra pre-set, the more powerful GPUs (and their equivalents) should be paired with an Intel Core i5-11600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X CPU, 24GB or 20GB of VRAM and 16GB of system RAM. Again, an SSD with 40GB of space is recommended.
Hawaii awaits
The Crew Motorfest will take place on the gorgeous Hawaiian island of O’ahu, featuring its dense rainforests, powdery white sandy beaches, and varied volcanic terrain.
There are various Playlists which contain different kinds of races for various vehicle types, from incredibly fast hyper-cars, to rugged ATVs. Of course, the added benefit to all of this is that the map is fully explorable, complete with access to airplanes and boats as well.
Just recently at Gamescom 2023, Ubisoft showed off more in-game footage in a new trailer:
The Crew Motorfest will hit the streets of Hawaii on PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S and Amazon Luna on September 14. Pre-orders are live now.
If you intend to run this on PC, you can take advantage of trying it out via Ubisoft+, a subscription service with a free trial for new customers. Instead, you can play through the limited-time launch week free trial, running from September 14-17. During that period, any newcomers on PC or console can try out the game for up to 5 hours.
