Pokemon GO has been packed to the brim with in-game events. Ultimately, this has allowed fans to get their hands on a plethora of rewards and have the opportunity to encounter some exciting Pokemon. Now, A Valorous Hero event has begun in Pokemon GO, with more tasks and rewards up for grabs. Also, you’ll encounter a particularly stylish Ponyta, who’s only available during this event in the current season.
According to Niantic, “Trainers who complete the research will be rewarded with an encounter with Ponyta wearing a Candela-themed accessory! This is the only way to encounter Ponyta wearing a Candela-themed accessory during this Season.” If luck is on your side, you may even find a Shiny one.
A Valorous Hero event Timed Research task and rewards
Step 1:
- Power up Pokemon 10 times: 1,000 Stardust
- Catch 5 Pokemon: 10 Poke Balls
- Make 5 Great Throws: 10 Razz Berries
- Battle 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts: 5 Hyper Potions
Completing the first set of tasks will see you earn an additional 1,000 Stardust and 1 Charged TM.
Step 2:
- Power up Pokemon 10 times: 1,000 Stardust
- Catch 5 Pokemon: 10 Poke Balls
- Make 5 Great Throws: 10 Razz Berries
- Battle in a gym 3 times: 5 Hyper Potion
Upon successful completion of step 2, you’ll be granted another 1,000 Stardust and 1 Charged TM.
The A Valorous Hero event in Pokemon GO begins on May 11 and ends on May 17 at 8pm local, giving you plenty of time to unlock the rewards. The tasks aren’t too challenging, so it shouldn’t take you too long to work through the list and meet the Candela-themed Ponyta.
