Star Wars: Hunters, known for its thrilling free-to-play 4v4 battles will shut down later this year. The game which is playable on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices also had a short stint on Steam, but that’s all about to come to an end.
In the world of Star Wars: Hunters, you pick from a roster of diverse characters, make use of powerful abilities, all while loading into multiplayer arenas inspired by iconic Star Wars locations. However, there isn’t long left to play as the title winds down.
A mission cut short
In a post on the official Star Wars: Hunters blog, fans are told that “after careful consideration, we want to let you know that the final content update for Star Wars: Hunters on all platforms will be on April 15th. The game will remain playable until October 1st, 2025, when the game’s online servers will be shut down.”
To prepare for the final curtain to close, Season 5 will be extended by three weeks, while events and shop bundles from the season and the ranked season will also be extended, giving players more time to hit Kyber 1 rank.
Then, the final content update will be released on April 15, 2025 and in-game purchases will be disabled across all platforms. New Support Hunter, Tuya, will join the battle as part of the final update, available for all users immediately for free, along with more in-game content. Ranked players can compete to make it to the top of a final competitive leaderboard.

Online servers will officially shut down on October 1, 2025, meaning Star Wars: Hunters will no longer be playable from that date and beyond.
