FuturLab, also known as the team behind PowerWash Simulator has announced a second game, fittingly named PowerWash Simulator 2. It aims to expand on the world with new locations that will benefit from your cleaning expertise. Perhaps the biggest takeaway from the announcement is that you will finally be able to remove stubborn stains with the help of your friends with co-op.
The first PowerWash Simulator launched back in 2022 and its relaxing and satisfying mechanics was a key component in drawing players in. Since its debut, it has received various expansion packs providing new areas to clean such as Spongebob’s Bikini Bottom and most recently, a Wallace and Gromit DLC. PowerWash Simulator 2 is a completely new stand-alone game, packed with more content and fresh features.
Dust off your tools
PowerWash Simulator 2 will bring a fresh career mode, complete with 38 jobs set across the world of Muckingham, taking you to places old and new, from Sponge Valley to Lubri City. At the same time, it’s expected to be a continuation of the events that players have experienced in the first instalment of PowerWash Simulator.
A major update that will come with PowerWash Simulator 2 is co-op, allowing you to blast away all the dirt and grime with your friends. Campaign progress can be shared through online play or split screen functionalities. After a hard day of work, you can even relax with your buddies at a new home-base that you can customise with furniture and trinkets.
PowerWash Simulator 2 is expected to hit PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 at an unannounced date in late 2025. It will even be available to play on Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2.
